Tackle Rugby by Toby

I am Toby Brown. Do you want to know how to play tackle rugby? I can show you.

First you will need a team of 15, a mouth guard, a pair of rugby boots and know how to tackle. You can have head gear. Boots are good for lots of grip. The ball is an oval.

When you are passing spin the ball and aim where you are passing. Do short passing so the other team does not get the ball. Put your hands out to catch the ball.

You need speed to score a try. Get a try at the end of the field. You can dive.  If you kick the ball, you can do a drop kick.

NOW PLAY!

How to Recover from a Operation by Jethro

Hi I'm Jethro and I'm going to teach you how to recover from a operation. First you wait for the nurse. When the nurse calls you get up and go. Then you walk down a hallway then you go in a room and you get into hospital PJS then take some medicine.  It's a bit bitter. After that you go on a bed with wheels and then go into the operation room. You need to breathe though a hole then fall asleep. Then you wake. When you talk you're croaky. After that you get an iceblock. Finally you get to have a ride on a wheelchair. I had Foxy and I got a hospital lion.

Rippa Rugby! By Otis Rm 10

If you don't know what rippa rugby is then keep reading because I'm going to tell you.

The first step is to catch the ball. If you don't know how don't worry. You need your hards free.

Team work is important in rippa rugby because your team need to pass the ball not hog it, and know when people are open. Eye contact contact is good to know so you can pass the ball. You always need your hards free so they can pass to you.

Run in an open hole. If you see a hole go for it so you can score a goal. Throw to people who are ready. It's good for people to know you are passing.

I hope you know how to play rippa rugby now.

Tackle Rugby by Bonnie

Do you want to know how to play rugby?

Rugby is a winter sport. When you play rugby you have two teams who are trying to get the ball so they can get a try at the try line. You need to wear rugby boots, a mouth guard, shorts and a team t-shirt.

You need to pass close or someone in the other team could get the ball. You have to remember your position. If you get tackled try moving your way out and run to the try line and get a try. If you get a try you have to kick the conversion. A try is worth five points, a conversion is worth two and a penalty is worth three points.

A conversion is when you have to kick the ball through the posts. If someone in the other team is going to get a try you have to run up and tackle them and try to get the ball. To get a try you have to be fast so no one can catch you. A penalty is if someone tackles you and holds you down for too long. You do another kick off and see which team gets it.

If someone throws the ball to you,  you have to keep an eye on the ball so you catch it. If someone passes the ball to you and you drop it in front of you thats called a knock on and you have to give it to the other team.

You need to do a scrum if there's a knock on. A scrum is when your team has to push against the other team to get the ball. This is how you tackle: you dive down to someone in the other teams legs and then they fall down and drop the ball. If they don't, try grab it out of their hands.

That's how you play rugby.

Rippa Rugby by Rhys

Hi. Do you want to know how to play Rippa Rugby? If you do. I'll teach you.

You have to have teamwork. That is what you do first. You always have to pass.  It is good to start with small ones then get longer and longer.

After that catching.  You always need to be able to catch if you drop the ball the other team will get it.  With that aim for where the ball may land.

You need to have speed like cars + Usain bolt. They have speed to run fast.  You need boots to grip to the ground like monster trucks speedy guys win the scores.

All players dive to get the trys and rips.  Imagine the famous rugby players too scared to dive tackle or dive score.

All players have a position to sort a position you have to have a race to see who is fast and slow so you get the fast at the back and the slow at the front.

In Rippa you tap the ball with your foot and then go, by go I mean run speed across the field if you think your going to get ripped pass so you won't get ripped.  When you've been ripped you tap and pass.  To not get ripped players dodge they side step, run to the side stuff like that.

Last but not least you need tags or you won't be able to rip but what would you do it with.  Hmmm lets think I know belts velcro belts to stick on with.  Come on go chatter
with friends and family.

My Sun Poem by Cameron D.

The Sun

Looks like... a scorching hot ball of spaghetti,

The sun feels like... you accidentally put your finger in the toaster,

The sun sounds like... sizzling bacon in a pan,

The sun smells like... a burned hotdog,

The sun tastes like...super spicy pepper.

Here Comes The Sun Poem By Rhys Evans

The Sun Tastes like burning spicy hot pasta...

The Sun Looks like flaming spirally circly bursting chilli pepper...

The Sun Sounds like boiling bubbly popping mud...

The Sun Sounds like oozing flamy beans burning with a fiery ball...

The Sun Feels like a burning flaming gunshot burning that's crystal-clear enormous lazery ball

Burning my head off.
